Over the years we buy all sorts of mounts for our phones and every time they don’t work out. Well I think I finally found a dash mount that meets and exceeds my needs by ProClip USA. This mount has to be the most sturdy I’ve found to date and puts the phone in a good perspective for line of sight to the road.

There are two types of mounts for my car and decided to go with the center dash mount that clips into the center left vent with the adjustable holder, yes that’s right you need to buy 2 parts (clip and mount). For the mount there are 2 different types, with or without power for a USB cord. I chose to get the non-powered mount as I don’t always charge my phone when driving however in post of the install I find I use the cord more often than previously thought. No worries, you can easily buy a new mount and it will install vin the same clip holes.

NOTE: When installing the clip into the dash simply take your time and use the supplied plastic tool to ease the bottom clip under your dash trim and do the same to the top where the dash meets to vent trim. The clip does cause a slight opening against the trim pieces but its a good trade-off for having such a sturdy mount. Finally install the mount to the clip using the 4 screws and presto, your done. The price for these 2 parts is a bit more than I wanted to pay however the system is very sturdy and worth the money. I highly recommend ProClip USA.
